Webtec · Website + Growth Manager + AEO

The new way to buy: AI compares. Humans decide.

We have put the detailed information here so you do not have to read through everything yourself. Send your AI this link, or download it as a PDF and upload it, then ask it to compare our offer with the alternatives.

Everything folded below is in the page and in the PDF, in full, whether you open it or not. Nothing is hidden from the machine you ask.

What you get

What do I get in the build?

Your website will be:

  • Built to convert: strategically planned to reduce buyer friction and guide visitors toward taking action.
  • Fast and mobile-optimized: designed to perform smoothly across phones, tablets, and desktops.
  • Optimized for AI Search: structured to help AI search engines understand your business and services.
  • Professionally written: copywriting included for agreed key pages.
  • SEO-ready: basic on-page SEO applied across the website.
  • Ready to measure results: conversion tracking is set up before launch so we can measure performance and identify future improvements.
  • Refined with you: includes up to 3 rounds of revisions before launch.
What does a Growth Manager actually do?

One named person on our team, assigned to your account. They recommend the changes, and a team behind them builds them. You always have one person to talk to. You are never just a ticket in a queue.

With the website we built: hosting, security, daily backups and updates, up to two tests a month on changes that could bring more enquiries, and a monthly report and call from your Growth Manager, read from your own Google account, not ours.

With AEO: monthly research asking ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your customers actually ask, and the team makes the changes that help those tools mention you.

What do I get month by month?

We build your website. We plan, design and build the full website with you. This includes:

  • The number of pages we agree in our meeting
  • A planning meeting and page structure you approve
  • Mobile and tablet optimisation
  • Fast-loading pages
  • Setup so Google and AI assistants can understand your website
  • Copywriting for agreed pages
  • Images from our libraries
  • Google Analytics and Search Console setup
  • Tracking on forms and phone buttons
  • Redirecting your old website links to the new pages
  • 3 rounds of changes
  • Full testing before launch
  • 30 days of free fixes after launch

For online shops, we can also set up products, payments, delivery, tax and test the checkout.

Then we keep improving it every month. You get one Growth Manager who looks after your website and helps it perform better. Every month we:

  • Manage hosting, security, updates and daily backups
  • Improve agreed pages to help more people find you
  • Write agreed new pages or articles
  • Run up to 2 tests to improve enquiries and conversions
  • Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity questions your customers actually ask, to see where your website can improve
  • Review results from your own Google Analytics and Search Console account
  • Send you a clear report and have a call to explain what happened and what we should improve next

So we don’t just build your website and leave. We build it, help people find it, measure what works, and keep improving it every month. Extra work outside the agreed package is always priced and approved by you before we start.

What do you do every month after it is live?

Your Growth Manager checks hosting, security, daily backups and updates, all the time. Up to two tests a month on changes that might get you more enquiries. Every month we ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity questions your buyers actually ask, to find areas of improvement. Plus a report read from your own Google account, not ours, and a call to go through it.

What is a subpage?

A subpage is a page you click into from the homepage to read more about something.

What is the Business Package? (Optional)

Do you have limited experience with website maintenance? Don’t worry, our Business Package removes the headache completely. After launch, we handle everything through our remote IT department for your website. Instead of managing plugins, updates, hosting, and security yourself, we bundle everything into one simple package so you can focus on your business.

The Business Package includes:

  • Up to five hours of content changes so you always can improve (worth $695)
  • Insurance for unforeseen issues (we fix anything for free instead of hourly rate)
  • Plugin licenses for better performance worth $500+ per year
  • Theme & plugin updates to avoid hacker attacks
  • Security monitoring to avoid hacker attacks
  • Setup and maintenance of Google Analytics so we can optimize the website
  • User behavior tracking so we can optimize the website
  • Domain management
  • Website hosting

In short: everything needed to keep your website secure, updated, and continuously improving. All for $199/month.

What’s the difference between the Growth subscription and the Business Package?

What is included in Growth? Your Growth subscription includes the work we recommend to improve the performance of your website. That means:

  • Your Growth Manager reviews the website every month.
  • We run up to two improvement tests per month.
  • If a change is part of an agreed Growth test, we make that change as part of your Growth subscription.
  • Hosting, security and backups are included.

What is the Business Package for? The Business Package is for extra website changes you ask us to make, outside the Growth work. For example:

  • Changing text
  • Adding a new page
  • Swapping images
  • Updating team members
  • Adding products or services
  • General website edits

Without the Business Package, these extra changes are charged at our normal hourly rate.

Simple version: Growth = changes we recommend to improve results. Business Package = additional website changes you ask us to make. Changes that are part of an agreed Growth test are included in your Growth subscription. Extra changes you request outside the Growth work are either covered by the Business Package or charged at our normal hourly rate.

What is not included?

Money you spend on ads, photography, video, translating your words, custom software, and anything not on the list in this document. Money you spend on ads goes straight to Google or Meta, never to us. If we think you need something else, you get the price and what it does to your timing, in writing, before anything starts.

Money

What do I pay to get started?

Your first monthly payment. There is no setup fee, deposit or additional upfront charge.

When do I start paying, and does the bill run while you build?

Every month from the day you sign, including while we build. That is the trade for no setup fee and no deposit. It’s usually one to four payments before your new site is live, depending on how fast you answer.

What if the hold-up is at my end?

Your bill does not stop. If we are waiting on your words, your photos or your yes, we tell you in writing on the day it happens and what it does to your launch date. Your twelve months run from the day we start, not from the day the site goes live.

Can my price go up?

Your price: fixed for your whole first year. It cannot go up during your term.

Price changes after that: 60 days notice, and you can stop instead.

Tax and currency

Prices are before tax. What tax applies depends on where your business is registered.

Your web address

About $15 to $25 a year, bought and owned by you.

Ads

Not part of this. We quote it on its own if it is ever the right move. Money you spend on ads goes straight to Google or Meta, never to us.

What is your hourly rate?

€/$/£139 per started hour.

Do you do refunds?

No, and we would rather say that plainly than bury it. What we do instead is keep the exit cheap and the ownership real. The most you can ever owe us is the rest of your first year, and paying it makes the website yours outright.

Contract, ownership and leaving

Am I tied into a contract?

For the first twelve months, yes, and we will explain why rather than hide it. There is no setup fee because your first year pays for building the site. After month twelve it goes month to month and never renews into another year. If you want out before then, you pay the remaining months of year one at your normal price and the site becomes yours. There is no penalty, no buyout fee and no notice period on top of that.

Who owns the website, and when?

Your words, your photos and your customer data belong to you from day one, and we host them for you while you are with us. The website itself becomes yours once your first year is paid, free, whether you stay with us or not. If you want it sooner, pay the remaining months of year one and it is yours. There is no fee on top.

What happens if I want to leave?

No notice, no buyout fee, no argument. Once your first year is paid you can stop whenever you like and the website is yours to keep. Before your first year is up, you pay the months that are left at your normal price and the website is yours. Your site stays up for 30 days after your last payment, free, so you can move it calmly.

What you get is a full WordPress export: the files, the database, the design we made for you, every page, every image and your customer enquiries. It arrives as a working site any competent web person can put on your own hosting. Not a folder of pictures.

What about the agreement itself?

The agreement you sign is attached to this document. Its first clause says that where the agreement and this page disagree, this page wins. You sign both together and both carry the same date. Any older Webtec terms you find online do not apply to you.

Working together

What do you need from me?

One person who can say yes. Your words, photos and logins when we ask for them. Feedback within 3 working days. Your sign-off before anything goes live. And your monthly payment, which runs from the day we start, including while we build.

How long does it take to build?

Most websites are completed in around 60 days.

Some projects are faster, while larger or more complex websites can take longer. Timelines can also extend if we are waiting for content, feedback or approvals from you.

Before we start, we’ll give you a clear project plan and expected timeline so you know what to expect.

What if I do not like the design?

You see a first draft before we build the rest of the subpages. You say what is wrong, we change it, and nothing goes live until you have signed it off. You get 3 rounds of changes in the build. If you are still not happy after those rounds, we can work on an hourly rate until you’re happy.

Trust

What will you not promise me?

Four things. That you will be number one on Google, or any position at all. That ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity will mention you. A number of enquiries. An amount of money you will make.

Nobody can promise those honestly. If another company does, that is a reason to walk away, not a reason to sign. Everything we do promise is something we control. These four are not, and wanting them badly does not change that. We can give estimates based on data. But it is never a guarantee.

What can I hold you to?

No setup fee, no deposit, and your price fixed for year one, if you don’t order more. Nothing goes live until you have signed it off. Your words, photos and customer data are yours from day one. No additional work or additional charges start without your written approval. Your normal monthly subscription is charged automatically according to your plan.

At twelve months we redesign every page if you want, and at twenty-four we rebuild it from scratch on a current design, keeping your words, your photos and your web addresses. Both are included while you are with us. After year one we give you 60 days notice of any price change and you can stop instead.

What should I ask any other web company?

These thirteen, and if they will not answer one in writing, that is an answer too.

  • What do I pay before you start work? (Us: no setup fee or deposit, just your first monthly payment.)
  • What do I pay in year two and three? (The same, plus a redesign at twelve months and a rebuild at twenty-four, included.)
  • How long am I tied in? (12 months, then never again.)
  • What does it cost me to leave early? (12-month minimum. After that, cancel anytime with nothing further to pay. No exit fee.)
  • Who owns my content and my customer data? (You do. We only host it.)
  • Who owns the site itself, and when? (You, after a year, free.)
  • What happens when the year ends? (Nothing. Month to month. It never renews into another year.)
  • Can another web person take it over? (Yes. Built on WordPress, so you are never stuck.)
  • Can I get a copy of my content whenever I want? (Yes. Free, no reason needed.)
  • Can you charge me for extra work without my approval? (Never.)
  • Is your price on your website? (Yes.)
  • How many sites have you built? (4,000+ since 2017.)
  • Will you promise me a Google position? (No, and nor should anyone else.)

The last one matters most. Anyone who answers that with a yes is telling you how to read all their other answers. Because that’s a lie.

Where do your numbers come from?

Every one has a source and a date, all read on 20 September 2026.

  • 4,000+ businesses since 2017: our own records.
  • 594 trusted us in 2025: our own records.
  • Google 4.8 from 204 reviews: our Google business page.
  • Trustpilot 4.2 from 79 reviews: trustpilot.com/review/trywebtec.com, and we ask customers to review us, which Trustpilot says openly on our page.
  • Most sites live in about 90 days: our own records, middle time 64 days in 2026.
What do your worst reviews say?

We are rated 4.8 on Google from 204 reviews and 4.2 on Trustpilot from 79. You can read every one of them, we would rather point you to them than hope you do not look. We’re proud of our reviews, including the critical ones. They’ve helped us improve how we work. A few themes have come up more than once over the years:

  • Cancellation: our old cancellation process was too complicated and sometimes led to billing disputes. We changed it. Today, you can cancel by email, message, SMS or phone.
  • Communication: some customers experienced slow replies when communication went directly to individual team members. We changed our process so you can contact us through any normal channel. We recommend live chat because the whole team can see the conversation and help faster.
  • Quality control: some older projects went live with mistakes that should have been caught before launch. We’ve strengthened our quality checks so websites are reviewed for content, links, mobile usability, forms and core functionality before launch.
  • Timelines: some projects took longer than they should have. Today, you get a clear project owner, plan and expected timeline from the start. Most projects are completed in around 60 days, although complex projects or delays in receiving feedback or content can extend this.
  • Results: we don’t promise a specific number of rankings, leads or sales. What we do promise is to build properly, measure what happens, test improvements and keep working on the website over time.

The simple version: we haven’t been perfect. We’ve listened to what customers told us and changed the parts of our process that caused problems.
